Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed 12th examination under 10 + 2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks ( 50% in case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates ) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2011 are eligible to apply.He/She should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the case of aggregate General & OBC and 50% in case of SC/ST candidates in aggregate in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.

Exam Pattern:

AIIMS Entrance for MBBS is of three and a half hours duration having 200 multiple choice. AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination Assertion and Reason Type Questions were asked, 20 each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These questions are descriptive type where candidates has to choose from given responses against each question. Also this section was compulsory to attempt.

How to Apply:

A candidate can submit application either On-Line through website www.aiimsexams.org. Application fee is Rs. 1000 (Rs.800 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can pay fee through a Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India.
