Eligibility:

Candidates must have graduation from a recognized University or any equivalent examination in any discipline.
Age:
Candidate must have attained age of 21 years but not above 30 years as on 01.06.2011. There is Relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in the Upper Age Limit.
 
Exam Pattern:

The exam will be Combined Objective and Descriptive type. The question paper will be in English and Hindi. The duration of exam will be 3 hours.
Subjects:
Reasoning -75 questions
English Language -50 questions
General Awareness -50 questions
Quantitative Aptitude -50 questions
There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for every incorrect answer.

Group Discussion & Interview:
Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for group discussion and interview for final selection.

Last date for registration of on-line applications: 25.06.2011
Application Fee Submission Date: From 02.06.2011 to 23.06.2011
Written Exam Date: 07.08.2011

How to Apply:

Candidates can apply online through official website of SBI www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com. They have to pay the examination fee and postage fee at any branch of SBI.

Fee:
1. SC/ ST/PWD - Rs. 50 (Postal Charges only)
2. All others - Rs. 500 (App. fees plus postage charges)
