Virender Sehwag hits Double century in ODI against West Indies
Virender Sehwag created history on 8 December 2011 as he became the second player in the history of One Day International cricket to score a double century after teammate Sachin Tendulkar. Now sehwag is the highest scorer ever in a one-day innings
In Indore in the fourth ODI against the West Indies, Sehwag scored 219 runs from 149 balls by hitting 25 fours and seven sixes.
Sachin Tendulkar was the first ever batsman to score a double hundred in ODIs with 200 not out against South Africa in Gwalior in February 2010.
West Indies were condemned to a 153-run defeat and an unbeatable 3-1 lead in the five-match ODI series to their hosts.
