USA President Barack Obama marks end of Iraq war
On 14 December President Barack Obama marked the end of the Iraq war. He saluted troops returning from Iraq declaring that its end to the nearly nine-year war.
More than 200 USA soldiers died in the war. Obama declare a noble end to a fight. All U.S. troops are to be out of Iraq by December 31 though Obama has pledged the US will continue civilian assistance for Iraq.
The president and first lady Michelle Obama paid tribute to the troops who fought and died in Iraq.
