Scientists found new magnetic bug
Scientists in Washington found a new kind of magnetic bug could open the way to biotech and nanotech uses. In a study scientists have identified and isolated a new kind of bug.
This bacteria is a single-cell organisms which can navigate along magnetic fields and it can be found in almost all water bodies. These bugs make their internal crystals which is useful in drug delivery and medical imaging. This bug is called BW-1 and was found in water samples collected more than 280 feet below sea level in Badwater basin, on the edge of Death Valley National Park in US.
