New Zealand beat India by one run in the second Twenty-20 match at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. New Zealand won two match Twenty-20 series with a thrilling victory over India. New Zealand made 167 runs on 5 wickets in which Brendon McCullum scored highest 91runs.

Chasing the target of 168 runs, Virat Kohli (70), Suresh Raina (27) and Yuvraj Singh (34) tried to win the match but New Zealand's experienced bowlers Jacob Oram, Kyle Mills and James Franklin used the slower deliveries to get their wickets. Brendon McCullum was named the man of the match and man of the series.
