Overview

Institute of Mathematics and Applications Bhubaneshwar, Orissa conducts an entrance exam for admissions to its Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. - Hons) in Mathematics and Computing and M.A, M.Sc and Diploma in Computational finance courses commencing in the session 2012-13. These programmes have already been approved by the Government of Odisha and are affiliated to the Utkal University. The Institute of Mathematics and Applications was established by the Government of Orissa on 31st May 1999.

Eligibility:

B.Sc. (Hons):
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent from any stream with subjects Mathematics.
M.A/M.Sc and Diploma:
Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics/Statistics as a core subject.
 

Exam Pattern:

The duration of exam will be one/two hours. The test will contain questions on mental ability and mathematical reasoning.

Candidates can get application form from Institute’s counter from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm in working days or by post by sending appropriate fees in favour of Director, Institute of Mathematics and Applications payable at Bhubaneswar. Candidates can also download the application form from the official website www.iomaorissa.org.

M.A/M.Sc and Diploma - Rs 350
