Overview

The SRM University, Tamilnadu, conducts entrance exams for admissions into various courses offered by the university. SRM University has established it self as one of the reputed private SRMEE college of India. SRM University is accredited by NAAC with a score equivalent to 5-star rating. UGC has declared the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai as deemed to be University under Sec. 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

Eligibility:

B.Tech - Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics with at least 70% marks in aggregate.
MD/MS - Candidate must have passed 10+2 with subjects Biology and Chemistry and Physics. They should also have studied English as one of the subjects.
 

B.Arch - Candidate must be a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 70% marks in English and Mathematics as subject of study and a minimum of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Candidates appearing for their final year exam may also apply.


Exam Pattern:

B.Tech - The exam will be divided into four parts. There will be objective type questions in exam. Subjects are Maths, physics, chemistry and biology. Every paper will carry 105 marks.
MD/MS - There will be four parts of exam. Exam will consist questions from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Each question will carry 3 marks. Every paper will carry 105 marks.
There will be negative marking in the exam.

Candidates can obtain application forms from various sales outlets like Post Offices, Banks and SRM University Campuses and Offices. Candidates can download application form from the official website www.srmuniv.ac.in. Filled application forms should be sent along with DD for Rs. 750 drawn in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai to Director, Admissions, SRM University, Kattankulathur - 603203, Kancheepuram District, Tamilnadu, India.
