B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch:
Candidate must have minimum 50% for general (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks
in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together in H. S (10+2 standard)
and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories).

Age:
Candidate must have attained age of 17 years or above as on 31.12.2012.
There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering course for
which the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.07.2012.
Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Exam Pattern:
There are two separate tests for medical colleges and engineering colleges.
Medical test has the Biology paper while the engineering test has the
Mathematics paper.
There will be 4 papers of Mathematics, Biological Sciences of 100 marks and
Physics & Chemistry of 50 marks. Question paper will consist multiple choice
questions. There will be negetive marking of 33.33% for every wrong answer.

How to Apply:
WBJEE Application Form (i.e., prescribed printed application form along with
Information Brochure and a printed window envelope) will be available from
different Branches of United Bank of India on payment of Rs. 500 (for E / M
type Form) and Rs 600/- for C type Form in cash. The total amount has to be
paid by demand draft drawn in favour of West Bengal Joint entrance
examination board payable at Howrah/Kolkata.
