UP PGMEE 2012 - Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination 2012

Overview

Uttar Pradesh PG Medical entrance Examination is conducted by Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University (CSMMU) for admission to various medical and dental postgraduate programs such as MDS, MD, MS and PG Diploma courses in various medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who clear the exam are also eligible for admission to U.P. State Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur and Meerut.

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS degree from recognised medical college or candidates who have obtained registration from state Medical Council or Medical council of India are eligible to apply. Candidates who are yet to complete their internship may also apply..
 

Exam Pattern:

The exam will consist 150 multiple choice objective type questions with 4 answers each. UP PGMEE will contain questions from relevant graduation level examination. There will be negetive marking of 25% for every incorrect answer.

For UP PGMEE 2012 candidates can apply online. Candidates can visit the official website www.kgmcindia.edu. and download the form. Candidates can pay application fee at Axis Bank/Allahabad Bank (Plus bank charges Rs. 20 for cash deposit) or through debit/credit card (Plus Rs. 40 for Internet payment gateway).
