Exam Pattern:
The exam will consist of 2 papers based on objective type multiple choice
questions.
Paper 1 contains question of General
Studies with 200 marks for 100 objective type Multiple choice questions.
Paper 2 contains question of Aptitude
Test with 200 marks for 100 objective type Multiple choice questions.
After this exam there will be Main Written Exam and Viva-Voce.

How to Apply:
Candidates can obtain application form from the Reception Counter of H.P.
Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002 & at all District
Headquarters. Candidates can apply online through
http://www.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
Offline applications must reach the Controller of Examinations, Himachal
Pradesh Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla - 171002 by Post/Speed
Post, Courier or By hand on or before 31.01.2012.
Application fee:
Online applicants - Rs.250 for General/Gen. Physical handicapped and W.F.F.
of H.P. category
Rs.63 for S.C./ S.T./ OBC of H.P.
Candidates can pay this fee by cash at any branch of PNB through a challan
generated through the official website.
For offline candidates OMR Computerised Application Form inclusive of
examination fee can be obtained on payment of Rs.300 for General / Persons
with disabilities/ WFF/ Others and Rs.115 for SC/ST/OBC of H.P., Rs.50 for
Ex-servicemen of H.P. and visually impaired candidates of H.P.
