MMST Exam 2012 - Master in Medical Sciences and Technology IIT Kharagpur

Overview

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur conducts entrance exam for admission into 3 years' post-graduate program - Masters in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) for the Academic Year 2012. This programme is offered through School of Medical Sciences & Technology (SMST) of IIT Kharagpur.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have a MBBS Degree (recognised by Medical Council of India) with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have studied mathematics at 10+2 level (even as additional subject) or from any recognized Open University.
 

Exam Pattern:

The written exam will be of objective type of 2 hours duration. There will be 120 questions to be answered. 75 questions from MBBS syllabus and rest of them from 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be negetive marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

How to Apply:

Candidates have to apply online by website http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/mmst from 23 January 2012 till 9 March 2012. Filled application forms must be sent to The Chairman, GATE, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur - 721302 by speed post by 15 March 2012.
Candidates can application fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur on any nationalised bank payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal.
Application fee is Rs. 1000 for General Category and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PD Category.
